KRP-VPP polymer is designed to facilitate the working conditions (sinking) of TBM in soils with a large water inflow. The composition significantly reduces the water permeability of the soil in the bottom and converts the water-enriched soil into an easily transported mass.

The polymer was fed to the bottom-hole chamber, where it converted the bentonite solution pre-injected into the rotor into a plastic mass.

The filled rotor and the created ground cargo allowed to continue boring in the normal mode.
